Diverse Scholars Peer Mentoring

First-year Diverse Scholar Program (DSP) students (Mentees) are paired with a sophomore, junior, or senior Diverse Scholar student (Mentor) during their first year in the program. All Mentors are undergraduate students in the Leeds School of Business who have at least one year of experience in DSP and are equipped to provide support related to academic, professional, and personal growth and success.

Through this year-long mentoring program, Mentors and Mentees meet twice a month to discuss their semester experiences and explore a variety of topics, including (but not limited to) professional opportunities, ways to get involved at Leeds and across campus, strategies for navigating campus resources, and personal well-being check-ins.

Peer Mentors selected for the program are exemplary scholars and positive role models who are actively engaged in the DSP community. They are committed to helping their Mentees build meaningful connections, confidently utilize available resources, and successfully navigate their first year in DSP, the Leeds School of Business, and CU Boulder.
