Looking to make professional connections in the real world? The Undergraduate Professional Mentorship Program (PMP) connects Leeds juniors, seniors, and business minors with experienced professionals for one-on-one mentoring. Mentors come from a wide range of industries, roles, and companies, and are based all over the U.S. and beyond. Matches are made based on your interests—like industry, career path, location, and even hobbies.
Your mentor will:
- Be a coach, advisor, and connector
- helping you grow your network
- Help you get career-ready as you transition from college to the professional world
- Be a friend and confidant with any professional concerns
- Help you with resume/ cover letter concerns and internship searches

What to Expect...
Matches happen at the start of each semester (Sept-Oct and Jan-Feb). Students and mentors connect at least twice a semester (via in-person, phone, or video) and can check in more informally too. Each pair tailors their focus to the student’s goals, like resumes, interview prep, job search strategies, communication skills, and networking. Students can attend PMP’s big events: the Fall Kick-Off and Spring Celebration, plus other workshops and networking opportunities. Mentors are welcome at all PMP events, even if they aren’t currently paired
